Dear Neighbor,
I am writing to ask you to vote for me I don't take your vote for granted. I am not going to send you some flashy brochure. That tells you nothing about who I am and where I stand on the issues. I'm not a career bureaucrat or politician. Nor do I aspire to be. There are things wrong with our County and I am running to change them.
Public Input no longer seem a priority
This is not acceptable. Important issues ranging
from our water supply to land use planning to
public safety seem to be handled by our
County government BEFORE we have an
opportunity to speak. When I am elected I will
change that.
Many of us work and make a
decent living. However there are those who
are now unemployed or fail to make a living
wage and are struggling to support their
families Our County Government has failed to
do anything about that. When I am elected I will
change that Small business development has
always been important to me. I have worked
hard to see that the state makes an
investment in job creation, like small business
incubator.
I have lived in Pierce County for more than 20 years. In that time I have watched the changes that have occurred over the years. One that has had the largest impact on the County as a whole is the lack of Land Use Planning. Having been involved for many years in this processit is very hard to watch all the good work and planning done go to the way side. The next is providing living wage jobs in Pierce County. When we work together to accomplish these two things we will have the ideally place to raise our families. I will continue to work hard to merge these two issues for the betterment of all living in Pierce County. By enforcing the rules and regulations on the books this will create a balance to work from. Public imput no longer seems to be a priority. All issues from water supply, smoking ban, land use, critcal areas and more seem to be handled before public imput is completed. This is not acceptable. 

I am rasing my nine year old granddaughter Hailey. She keep me busy and updated on todays happenings. We help with rescued goats and have a rescued dog. The Motto at our house is GO GREEN and Alway be there to help others. I have spent many hours helpping the Seniors in our community work their way thur the red tape in Pierce County concerning taxes,housing assistance, heat and lights and other programs that may make life easier for them. In doing so I have found that there are many department in the County that could use some help and updating.
